  • Family Groups will consist of 1-2 house moms OR dads, and students of different grade levels who will live, eat, and share in the beach weekend experience together. These groups are designed to foster deep connections and encourage open dialogue as you deepen your community and faith throughout the weekend.

  • Our Friday Night Beach Luau (aka Coastal Cowboy Kickback) gives students the perfect time after the first session to talk to their friends, enjoy time by the beach, and compete in the annual limbo competition.

    Meet us here!

  • You’ll be divided into tribes based on your grade groups: Freshmen, Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors. Each tribe will face off in a series of exhilarating challenges designed to test your teamwork, strategy, and grit. The goal? session discussion questions

  • Text: Isaiah 6

    1. How does God's otherness intimidate you? How does God's otherness move you to worship?

    2. When you sin, how are you conditioned to react?

    3. What have you found as the best method to grasp the depth of your sin and then battle against it?

    4. Luke 24:32 says the disciples' hearts burned within them when Jesus explained how He is the focus of the Old Testament. How does hearing the gospel of Jesus from Isaiah move you?

  • Text: 1 Corinthians 12:12-20

Supporting Text: Philippians 2:5-8, Ephesians 5:22-32

    1. In the context of the local church, 1 Corinthians 12 is giving a picture of a physical body to describe the relationship of individual members of the church to one another. Why is it important to view the church as "us" rather than "them"? Is this hard for you, why or why not?

    2. How can a lack of personal ownership lead to a lack of growth in the body of the church? How about personal growth?

    3. Have you ever had a consumer mindset when it comes to the local church? Example: I attend and ___ expectations are to be met.

    4. How does Jesus example in Philippians 2 encourage you to seek humility in your own life?

    5. This morning we discussed how "discipleship happens when gospel truth meets a teachable posture." What has been more challenging for you, to hold knowledge of Christ work for you or to hold a teachable posture? Why or why not?

    6. What points of arrogance are causing you to not love others as Christ has loved you?

    7. Compare and contrast the picture of a marriage given in Ephesians 5. How does a marriage reflect the way a church should function? Knowing this, how does this change the way you view yourself in the context of the church?

    8. Which barrier are you personally most excited to grow in? (Ownership, Humility, Love)

Discuss ways your group can hold one another accountable to these points of growth.

  • Beach WKND is designed with you in mind!

It is a 3 day retreat to Panama City Beach with hundreds of other college students involved at City Church Salt. The weekend is comprised of 4 Services with music & teaching followed by small group discussion within your family groups.

The weekend is built around getting time away from the distractions of school to go further in your faith and develop better bonds in Christian community alongside other students. There is a lot of free time built in for you to enjoy the beach and being with friends.

  • Located in the heart of Panama City Beach, Laketown Wharf is the largest single-building condominium vacation resort in the Panama City area. (9902 S Thomas Dr, Panama City Beach, FL 32408)
