There are four main sessions which include gospel teaching and worship. They will take place in the Ballroom at Majestic Beach Resort (11212 Front Beach Road.) These sessions are required for all students, and family groups will need to walk from Laketown Wharf.
-
Family Groups will consist of 1-2 house moms OR dads, and students of different grade levels who will live, eat, and share in the beach weekend experience together.
These groups are designed to foster deep connections and encourage open dialogue as you deepen your community and faith throughout the weekend.
-
You’ll be divided into classes based on your grade groups: Freshmen, Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors. Each grade will face off in a series of exhilarating challenges designed to test your teamwork, strategy, and grit.
The goal? To outwit, outplay, and outlast the competition, all while forging stronger bonds with your fellow students!
Don’t forget to bring your class colors!

Main text: Philippians 3:1-7
What are some counterfeit versions of Christianity you see on campus—things that look religious but distract from Jesus?
If you were to write out your “spiritual resume,” what would be on it—and how are you tempted to lean on that for worth instead of Christ?
Paul calls his achievements “loss” compared to Christ. What are the hardest things in your life to count as loss—and what keeps you from letting them go?
In wat ways do you find yourself looking for validation from professors, peers, a job, or campus involvement more than from Jesus? How does that shape your daily decisions?
How does the truth that Jesus takes our sin and gives us His righteousness (i.e. the gospel) change the way you view both your failures and your accomplishments?
-
Main text: Philippians 3:8-11, Romans 8:16-18
Main Idea: The way you know Christ is through His power and through our present sufferings.
(Phil 3:8) How do we sometimes slip into relying on our own “righteousness,” and how can we remind ourselves to rest in Christ’s righteousness instead?
What does it look like in everyday life to “count as loss” good things (status, accomplishments, possessions) for the sake of Christ?
(Phil. 3:10) What’s the difference between knowing about Jesus and truly knowing Him? How does vs. 10 tell us to pursue a deeper relationship with Him?
How can suffering draw us closer to Christ and deepen our fellowship with Him? Have you ever felt Christ asking you “come walk with me?”
(Phil. 3:11) How can the certainty of resurrection shape our priorities and keep us faithful when life feels discouraging?
In your own words, why is Jesus worth more than anything else in life?
-
Main text: Philippians 3:12-16
Paul says in Philippians 3:12 that he makes “every effort” to take hold of Christ. What do you think it means to give maximum effort in pursuing Jesus?
When talking about the team analogy, we summarized us into three categories: On the team making every effort, Content just being on the team, or not on the team at all. Where do you feel like you fall and why?
We are called to “forget what is behind,” What are some things in your past (habits, relationships, regrets, distractions) that could hold you back if you keep looking at them? How can you “reach forward” in your pursuit of Christ? What are rhythms you can put in your life to help you stay focused on the prize of Christ?
Somtimes we settle spiritually and think we’ve “made it.” Where do you see that tendency in your own life, and how can you guard against becoming a “cultural Christian”?Running the race with Christ as our prize takes endurance. What helps you keep your focus on Him when life gets busy, stressful, or distracting?
-
Main text: Philippians 3:17-21
What are some stories do you believe more than the true end of the story? (Self-Serving, Success, Busyness, etc.)
Do you have an understanding of the Eternity for the believer? “ away.” (Revelation 21:1-7)
Is it easy for you to forget our hope in Christ? Why is this?
Why do we as Christians feel tempted to condemn people that don’t know Jesus?
What are some ways Jesus displayed his heavenly citizenship on Earth?
Who in your life can you look to to imitate them as they imitate Christ?
